I have been taught to yell “stop resisting” and “drop your weapon” after firing a gun, because bystanders will remember you said it and their memory will automatically reverse the order of the events to make it make sense. Their testimony will support yours, because of this.

The idea it's fine to keep high risk people indefinitely stranded at home is immoral & should be completely rejected. Vulnerable people have a right to participate in society too. For that to happen, we all need to mask in public spaces when COVID spread is high. #BringBackMasks

Happily saying to a chronic illness patient who has not been formally diagnosed with anything but is feeling terrible, 'Great news, all your tests came out looking normal,' is smug and condescending, and you know exactly what you're doing when you do so.

The chronic illness fear that that one specialist who is actually helping you might retire, move away, fire you or otherwise no longer be able to help you and then what in the name of fuck are you gonna do.

It's wild that disabled people are seen as the oppressors just because white well people can inaccurately scream 'freedom' louder than we can scream 'please don't kill us.'

Anyone else have mixed feelings about retweeting/liking photos of unmasked events/actions, because by not wearing masks, they're excluding disabled people from being able to participate safely?

It's time to stop talking about Long-COVID in you-get-it-or-you-don't terms. This is a persistent infection & some folks are on the no-symptom part of the spectrum now but it's only a matter of time and/or number of infections before long symptoms are pronounced/apparent.
