eip 5003 should be included with 3074. otherwise it will harm more than it benefits eoa users. 🫵 allow users to rotate their keys and delegate complete validation.

seems like its 'create a standard szn'. here is my 2c, if you are building on zkSync (∎, ∆) , we can make everything 1-click (batch txns and passkey) & gasless for your users with Clave . say goodbye to erc20 approvals, seed phrases and lots of other nonsense 👾

Ethereum's take was to remove EOA completely and bring AA on alt-mempool level as an end-game. This vision is apparently no longer due to 3074?

3074 is like putting a small 🩹 over the gaping wound that is wallet UX.

Sure, we'll get some short term relief with EOA batching.

But that UX wound will fester..

and the longer we wait to enshrine smart accounts in the EVM. The more we delay a secure and usable Web3.

Very much agree with this take. Smart contract accounts made tremendous progress but 3074 unfortunately doesn’t allow a transition to those but rather some wired thing in between EOAs and smart accounts.

downside of EIP 3074 is that now it'll be possible to fully drain an address (all tokens, all nfts, all defi positions...) with only one bad signature

Lefteris Karapetsas | Hiring for @rotkiapp I am mostly worried that we will be building two parallel account tech stacks now with 3074/EOA and 4337/AA. And it will require a lot of effort and attention to make those interoperable, otherwise we end up in a world where dapps have to support separate standards for everything
