😭🤣 Starting to feel old but also .... why do we collectively view 30 like THAT?

“30” : Sounds old AF

People who are 30 : Actually still young AF.

Why is the number so heavy?!?!?

@NayNushka The media pushing anti ageing products, toxic masculinity/men valuing/finding women under 30 more attractive than women their age (there was a study from a dating site showing this) and it’s an age viewed as a proper “adult” which is scary for a lot of us!

@bleachpeach_ YES! I agree. And it’s definitely kinda scary but I’m hoping that one day (might not be soon) we can all just reprogram our mindsets when it comes to getting older cause this is ridiculous. 😩

@NayNushka I’m trying to change my mindset too, it’s scary bc I’ll be graduating uni at like 27/28 but education knows no limits! I’m not behind I’m just on my own path at my own pace. I’m excited for the future and for growing older, I hope the world can catch up too 😂💗
