Absolutely appalling! Shameful demonisation and dehumanisation of Muslims by the ruling party of India. Based on and with emphatic approval of the prime minister of the country.

I dread what 2029 election campaign would depict Muslims as given the hate has become so brazen now.

If they continue president-elect Prabowo might have difficulty funding some of his big spending plans

Big news in US auto manufacturing

Ofc manufacturers will see this as a blow to profits. I wonder if the US walled garden approach to EVs (keeping out cheap Chinese imports) becomes ever more reliant on subsidy and tariffs to keep OEMs on board with a build American strategy

It'll be interesting to see if Blair gets tapped as an unofficial envoy by Labour when it gets into government

Considering the global reach of the Blair Institute and it's influence in Starmer's Labour I wouldn't be surprised

Excellent piece on how political pressures and kneejerk protectionism are hobbling availability of cheap EVs in the US, and likely America's ability to develop it's own

The Spectator’s theatre critic has written a piece about how a female professional peer’s appearance made him so horny that he had to go pay for sex with a “buxom” Chinese woman near the train station.

Syariah courts, which implement codes based on interpretations of Islam’s sharia law, play an integral but also carefully circumscribed role in Malaysia’s legal system, Joseph Rachman writes. foreignpolicy.com/2024/04/12/cou…
