Someone out there has been praying for my carpal-tunnel! I’ve been chipping away at a free-form, just-for-joy embroidery a little each night after H goes to bed, until my hands go numb (but no pain!) This one is complete. ❤️

It’s Sunday! If you don’t have a Church, maybe darken the door of the little out of the way Church nobody in your town is talking about. There may be peace & righteousness dwelling there in the unknown and looked over.

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

Hilde says 'ABCDs' instead of 'ABCs' and I just can't get over how cute it is.

I told her to get as muddy as she wanted. Life is short and we have a washing machine.

Either we carry our cross or we push a boulder up a hill for eternity. But we always carry some load or burden.

Was just thinking about this same thing today.

It’s easy to fight. To give in to our pride and anger. What’s hard is a gentle word. An act of service. Forgiveness. And hardest of all: loving our enemies.
