On this second anniversary of 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, we are incredibly grateful for the crisis counselors, volunteers, and all who support 988 in the 200+ call centers and 30 backup centers nationwide. They are truly bringing hope and healing to individuals in crisis.

On June 15, members of the Commission had the honor of being present at the Golden Gate Bridge Suicide Deterrent System commemoration ceremony in San Francisco. The “net” is intended to deter individuals who seek to use the bridge to harm themselves.
