Hot and tired dogs! We will be moving into the cool bedroom shortly for a nap, lulled to sleep by the pounding of the flooring being installed in the final bedroom. Ahhhh…

Is this construction over yet, Mom? Hopefully tomorrow, Alfie. They’ve been so good through 9 days of things being upside down.

Day 2- Polly and I walked 1.57 miles at an easy pace. We left the house at 7:35am to beat the heat but the humidity was at 93%! Whew! We did find a sprinkler on the way back home which felt soooo good! 🥵

We are going to be late walking today. Our new furniture arrives shortly!!! Yay!! If it’s too hot after they leave, we will wait until this evening when it’s a bit cooler. We have touched everything in our house at least once if not three times. We feel like we moved!!

Good morning from the Pupturd Oasis. They went out to peedle and now he’s sleeping on my lap and she’s curled up like a little fox in my chair. Shhhhh….babies are sleeping. 💤

Mailed 56 postcards today: 20 reregisters, 35 Luzerne County and 1 straggler for Bucks County bringing my total to 1227. I’m so far behind but will catch up soon. We are winning Pennsylvania!

This is day 3 for us on the 30 mile challenge for American Cancer Society. We missed two due to ongoing construction and weather. 1.26 miles. She sat her butt down when she didn’t want to go any further! There are several people we are walking for. Some here on X. ❤️😊🐶

Everything has been turned upside down in the Pupturds world for over 2 weeks. These photos were from early this morning. The significance of these pics is that Polly is on the bed. She has been quite fearful of slipping on the new floor and wouldn’t try to get on the bed. ❤️🐶

Our day 4 We switched it up and walked this evening. I think Polly enjoyed our walk more tonight. 1.38 miles towards 30 miles for the American Cancer Society.

Day 5 of our 30 mile challenge. Polly started off great tonight but slowed to a crawl and sniffed everything on our path. It was so humid even though the sun was down behind the trees. Whew. 1.05 miles.
