Sharron Young (Morgantown) and Ammar Maxwell (Shady) will both play in their 12th state tournament/4th championship game tomorrow. Don’t think either started as freshmen though (but were both major contributors). Zion Dobbs may still be the lone boy in this category. #wvprepbb

Never been big on “you can’t call that in that situation.” If it’s a foul, call it. If it’s not, don’t. Feels like way more blatant fouls not called late than 50/50 calls made that should be let go. “Let the players decide the game.” Sometimes they decide it by committing a foul

I like new regional format. Was never fan of losing team advancing. I think this accomplishes the same things without loser advancing. But as a fan, I just wish every one of these semifinal (quarterfinal) games wasn’t on the same night, though I understand why they are. #wvprepb

The first round upsets have really slowed down. A few have it a good run (Parkersburg South, Ripley), but no seed 6-8 winners again this year, and most weren’t close. Could be a game away from no #5 winners either. #WVPrepBB
