My son is 12 today. The first pic is from our first Father’s Day. The second is from when he was 9. I beat him 19 times straight at Bounce Battle and made him cry. More recently, we’ve been skiing together. Happy Birthday, little buddy!

Packed gym for girls 6th-8th grade volleyball.

I was at some sporting event like this with my dad when I was younger. He was quiet, seeming like he was lost in his own thoughts. Then he suddenly said, earnestly, “Amazing to think in 100 years, all these people will be dead.”

Always worth remembering that having a bachelor's degree at all makes you part of a privileged minority (~35% of Americans). Seeing a four-year diploma as a normal, unremarkable rite of passage is some serious class bubble stuff
