In 2022-23 HMRC had only 397 specialists working on profit shifting by thousands of companies.

No match for tax avoidance industry.

Big four accounting firms alone have 4 times as many international tax specialists.

Any wonder corporations dodge taxes.

A former Post Office managing director says he was 'unaware' it was the Post Office that had brought criminal proceedings.

Selective amnesia?

He didn't know what Post Office was doing, but still collected his full salary. Why? What was he managing?

Labour must be bolder and radical if it wants clamp down on tax dodgers.

Without eliminating anomalies & freeing tax policymaking from the tentacles of the avoidance industry, Labour is unlikely to make a significant dent in the leakage of tax revenues.

Tory Minister Michelle Donelan's libel bills cost taxpayers £34,000 after she falsely accused an academic of extremism.

Libelling others is not part of part of Ministerial duties. So why are the people paying for it?

Ahh ... .the Tory magic money tree.

Post Office would do 'anything to hide Horizon failures' - Alan Bates.

And it did - aided by Ministers, civil servants, lawyers, accountants/auditors, Post Office/Fujitsu execs, all because it was profitable.

What kind of a society produces this horror?
