With the news that Hugh Segal has died, let me recommend, if you've not read it already, 'In Defence of Civility' by Segal who lived as he wrote ... in and away from politics. His death is a loss for all who knew him, the province & the country.

Robert Fisher This is sad news. Segal, an actual Conservative, was the first senior politician I can recall who actively promoted Basic Income. Huge respect for him.
