on average, stroke is a disease that is 90% one's environment and 10% one's genes. our research and public health priorities need to adjust accordingly to reduce the risk of exposure to the key contributors: poor diet, lack of physical activity, substance use, and air pollution

amazing! the World Health Organization (WHO) now recommends dietary guidelines be systemic and not focused solely on individual nutritional needs. in other words, how does a food systems affect the economy, equity, environment etc.
