Abortion is self defence. It causes illness, chronic pain, severe trauma, permanent body changes, scarring, long term chronic health issues and sometimes death. Nobody should be forced to endure that against their will.

Pregnancy being natural does not mean it doesn’t cause harm and significant bodily trauma. Every pregnancy comes with danger amd risk of death and most pregnancies result in long term health issues for the mother.

Consensual sex doesn’t require self defence. It is a pleasurable and harmless act. We have contraception for a reason. Occasionally contraception fails. That does not mean abortion shouldn’t be used as a last resort.

If they can extend consent to sex as also being consent to pregnancy, we can do the same for consent to sex being consent to abortion. If they don’t like it they will need to learn how consent works.
