Yesterday was hard. I wasnt in the right head space & kept making silly technical mistakes.I was also quite badly sea sick, which is physically & mentally debilitating.
But as usual,the second I’m back on dry land,I’m craving & planning my next trip out to sea…🙂 Ian Wightman

Just arrived in Largs, Scotland, to join a fishing boat in tomorrow’s early hours. I love it around here, it’s not a touristy part of Scotland, you won’t find coach loads of Americans trying to find their nonexistent roots here.
I think tomorrow might be a wild ride… 🤢🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I swam myself out beyond that beautiful green glass crest tonight, and looked back at the Island, all golden - every gliding fulmar had a golden sunset belly - and felt absolute elation and gratitude.

Japan has been an absolute treasure trove of street photography…I think I’m gonna need a bigger hard drive 🇯🇵👌

I debated bringing a tripod, but didn’t, and regretted it. I got this shot handheld on my iPhone, but by the time I’d fashioned a temporary tripod for my Fuji, the light had totally changed 😭🇯🇵
