A toast to the warm spirit of Armand DeBelder with Armand’s Spirit. Armand gifted me this bottle in 2009 & this seems to be the perfect time to open this treasure. I will let the Angel’s Share of the glass I poured for Armand evaporate into the heavens for him to enjoy.

The Vermont snow is melting. Of course that means mud season is starting early this year.

I had not had anything from a McDonald’s in over 20 years. Being a bit peckish while driving in Upstate NY, I thought “why not”. They cooked a “fresh” —ahem — hash brown for me. It all came back to me as to why I don’t eat anything from there. Sooo salty & greasy. Inedible.
