I freaking guessed and got so many things wrong every turn, every development, every ep… never watching the old one helped, and it got me invested in following this remake of #Shogun .

My fav modern directors/filmmakers are Cary Fukunaga and Dennis Villaneuve, and you can usually easily credit them for most of the vision and execution of a film… but I can’t on #Shogun , everyone from actors to directors to everyone behind the scene, gave us this experience
