Grateful to every member of States Assembly - Jersey's elected parliament for considering & approving the Government Plan. In 2024 the majority of 🇯🇪 tax payers will be able to earn £20k b4 paying tax. A stability budget putting £’s in people’s budgets to support them thru difficult times & deliver🌟services

#OTD 75 years ago, history was made when Ivy Forster became the first female politician ever elected to States Assembly - Jersey's elected parliament. She received 889 votes, becoming a Parish of St Helier No. 2 Deputy. She was re-elected 3 years later, topping the poll.
