Challengers ('24 Luca Guadagnino): Practically a fetish film. (The fetish is sweaty tennis.) (It's great!)

Under Parallel Skies ('24 Sigrid Bernardo): Loved Janella in this, but the movie's too much about fixing a broken boy for my tastes.

Civil War ('24 Alex Garland): Amazing depiction of photojournalism. Feels like it chickened out on what the title suggests, though.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire ('24 Gil Kenan): Still a bummer, though a little less than last time.

Any pool fans here? This previously lost 1971 film by Thomas DeMartini just turned up on Youtube in a beautiful HD copy scanned in 4K from a salvaged 35mm print. The film was shot in Shopper's Pool Room in Baton Rouge, LA and stars Minnesota Fats playing himself. Link below.
