A new species for me along the Arroyo de las Piedras today (02.10.22). Tropidopola cylindrica - Common Cylindric Grasshopper.

Male Conocephalus conocephalus (Pygmy Conehead) from the magnificent Arroyo de Las Piedras on 06.10.22 -spine on the male cerci in the basal rather than apical 3rd (of both C.dorsalis and C.fuscus that are here in the UK)

A lucky break today when this Water Rail showed extremely closely in the canal next to Fishlake Meadows.

An unphotographed Southern Hawer still hunting in Woodfidley (New Forest) today and 6 Common Darters seen

Victory snatched from the jaws of defeat! Great Grey Shrike popped up on gorse then a small pine not far from Pig Bush car park after a 4 1/2 hr wander (and an ear bend!)

The 2cy Iceland Gull was showing well on rooftops around the Redbridge Roundabout lunchtime 04.03.23. 29th day.

Iceland Gull 2cy present for the 46th day in the Redbridge / Lower Test area. Today it was flying circuits around Redbridge Towers.
