Take and implement practical advice.

A few years ago...

I had the double optin on my email list and still send to WhatsApp.

Sounded smart to avoid bot.

But it wasn't really practical...

Because I was losing a ton of leads who got lost in the process.

So I removed it.

I have a Client who was losing money from her Ads & Funnels.

Spent N800k+ and hasn't even gotten 50%.

She was just sacking everyone because she wasn't seeing results.

And it taught me that proper Client - Freelancer dynamic is very important.

Her team couldn't get her to do…

If you get a Client...

And you're not confident or capable in your skill - Outsource it.

It's wayy better than ruining your reputation.

You'd make less money - Yes.

But that's an opportunity to learn in real time as well.

I just had a crazy experience.

I shot an entire video without starting the recording 😂

Only for me to click stop and it started recording.

I might just stick to Twitter content and add creatives

My friends and I started a mini agency.

And we decided to give a crazy offer like 100M offers.

Safe to say that was one of the worst decisions I've made so far.

Because we had a contract & the Client just stopped providing information to us.

Create offers you can fulfill sha.

Get them a fast win first.

When you sign a new Client...
You try to over deliver which is cool.

But...
It can take time.

Next? They begin to doubt you.
And even trust you less.

Solution:

Get them a small but fast win.

This would boost the initial dopamine to work with you.

The number of Client project calls I've had in the last 24 hours is a lot.

One of my best decisions in Freelancing was this:

> Work with a few people who pay you well.

You're NOT losing money.
You're improving yourself.

There's only soo many people you can serve at once.

Why's everybody focusing on hard skills?

Nobody's learning soft skills.

- How to negotiate
- How to communicate
- How to address concerns
- How to reach agreements
- How to mitigate Client and project requests

Hard skills can only get you soo far.

Clients are humans as well.

That's the whole point.

People who sell luxury don't sell to rich people.

They sell to people who WANT luxury and can pay for it.

Even if they borrowed the money to buy.

Know your worth.

And know the worth of your services to your customer.

Sometimes...

Your worth can be less than the worth of your services.

Psst.
Come closer.

Let me tell you a secret.

High ticket clients are NOT rich clients.

They probably even have less money than 'rich' clients.

But...

They're clients who understand the value of your skill.

...And what you have to offer to their business.

So they pay more.

I finally got my emails to stop going to spam.

And I learnt a thing or two about email deliverablity.

One lesson:

Where your email is sent from is more important than whether your sender email is generic or not.

Host your list of services that have good sender reputation.

Wanna price your services?

Find out:

How valuable are my services to them?

One logo for Nike.
One logo for Puma.

One is worth $200+B
Another is worth $15+B

Stop looking at your time and effort.
Start looking at your value.

The best move you can make as a business owner is to maintain honesty.

People know what you're doing.

You're not smart.

You're just being ignored.

You lose Clients every time you try to sound smart.

Listen.

Remember your technical words?

Most of your Clients don't understand 80% of them.

Worst part?
They don't even care.

Communicate in clear sentences and be honest.

You'd win more.

Simple maths.

The degree a person can grow into is directly proportional to the amount of truth they can handle about themselves without leaving.
