Just finished the book by patrick_ness Started with snort laughing continued on an emotional rollercoaster with some ahhhing, some wanting to hug a lizard to make things better & finishing with a smile and hooray! It is brilliantly bonkers but also with a heart & soul that I love.
This book is a work of genius. Technical perfection, incredible storytelling, wildly imaginative, with so much heart and beauty. I’m 50/50 there’s no point in anybody else writing anything now/ridiculously inspired and energised. patrick_ness
