What does the Humanitarian Guard actually do when the violent extremists turn up trying to block aid to Gaza?

Unreal but all too real. A Palestinian citizen of Israel arrested, handcuffed, blindfolded - for an Instagram post expressing sorrow about children killed in Rafah. This is Israel’s future unless there is a real reckoning what it has become.

The Humanitarian Guard is still going out every day, protecting aid trucks from violent extremists. And for the past two days, the extremists didn't show up - they know the עומדים ביחד نقف معًا Standing Together🟣 activists will be there, and that they will prevent them from blocking aid. Incredible work.

Following the horrific attacks in Rafah עומדים ביחד نقف معًا Standing Together🟣 activists are out in Tel Aviv calling for an end the war.

Those harrowing images must increase pressure - within Israel and from outside - for this war to end now.

Last night, Rafah was hell on earth.

An Israeli bomb set tents in an area full of displaced people on fire, killing 35 people and wounding dozens. The camp that was attacked was classified as a humanitarian zone, and people had been told that they would find refuge there. >>

Videos from strike on UNRWA camp in Rafah are truly horrific. I won’t share them. But this is insanity, and most people paying close attention know it.
It won’t end the war. It won’t destroy Hamas. It won’t bring home the hostages. It will just create more orphans and misery

“An Israeli bomb at night in Barfih camp set fire to refugees' tents. So far 35 dead &dozens of wounded who can’t be treated. Israel defined the camp as a humanitarian zone. How many more people must die? This war must stop to end these crimes &overthrow the government of death.”

A statement from Peace Now:

Israelis running for shelter in Tel Aviv. Children with nowhere left to run killed in Rafah. Hostages brought home for their funerals. Palestinians facing starvation in Gaza.

End the war. Bring the hostages home. Let aid into Gaza. Make peace for the sake of future generations.
