It'll be a while before we know the facts behind a recent death in CHCH, but it's always a good thing to check what you're taking.
So we're running a pop-up drug checking clinic tomorrow so that anyone who has concerns can get their drugs checked.

Our current approach isn’t working, we must do better for our people! Overdose prevention centres are tried & tested and proven to be effective. OPCs amongst other things reduce drug related harm, save lives, connect PWUD with health & social services benefit the wider community.

Criminalising people for using drugs perpetuates drugs use, causes harm and has life long implications for PWUD. We must do better for our people by implementing a health & human rights based approach to methamphetamine and other drug use.

Time NZ took a different approach to methamphetamine. NZ Drug Foundation & Mahi a Rongo | Helen Clark Foundation commissioned a report that shows our existing policies aren’t working and are causing harm.

The culmination of a year or effort pulling together the thinking, legal advice and supportive stakeholders - from Heart of the City, Ngāti Whātua o Ōrākei, to Hāpai Te Hauora and the @NZNEP. We want to prevent overdose harm among ppl experiencing homelessness in inner city Auck.
