Kyle Shanahan said DT Maliek Collins is expected to be here soon as he's awaiting his kids finishing up school.

Bosa added that coach Kyle Shanahan laid out some of the reasons mentioned to him in a phone conversation and Bosa agreed '100%' with Shanahan that it would be good for him to attend.

#49ers DE Nick Bosa a mild surprise participant at OTAs today. He usually stays away this time of year. Expecting to catch up with him here in a bit.

I'm told the #49ers don't currently have any plans to do any weeklong stays this year. That is subject to change but only time it would make any sense is between Green Bay and Buffalo. That happens to be Thanksgiving week and there's not an obvious place to work in between.

Niners intend to do joint practices with Saints in Irvine, Calif., before that second preseason game.

I know I'm fighting a useless battle here, but this looks like Goff's new deal can be boiled down to 4 years, $37.8M per with a chance to be longer if DET wants it to... but they can get out of it in a few years. Probably won't, but they can.

#49ers announced they signed sixth-round pick OL Jarrett Kingston to his rookie deal.

The only Niners draft pick left to sign is first-round WR Ricky Pearsall.

Chris Hubbard gives Niners an experienced vet to battle for the swing tackle job with the likes of Jaylon Moore and Brandon Parker.

Aaron Rodgers is 6-3 in his career against the 49ers in the regular season.
