When you hire the house, you also have access to the entire estate including boating lake, tennis courts, swimming pool and extensive gardens. So we encourage you to absolutely make the most of your stay!

We have a bit of a penchant for the dramatic, so we are fortunate that our sweeping steps invite a grand gesture.

Simplicity is sometimes all you need. For a pre-event dinner, a corporate get together or a casual meal the night before a big celebration - the North Hall is the idea location. Can also be used for wedding ceremonies and business presentations, an ideally flexible space.

Great care and attention is taken with even the smallest bedrooms in the house. Each one is unique, with antiques, original features and decor in keeping the period of this property.

A favourite with children, the bedrooms in the medieval part of the house are fun to explore and full of surprises. Terrific room choices for Harry Potter fans who want to imagine how boarding at Hogwarts might feel!

Baths tend to pop up in unusual places in the court. During the renovations we even discovered a 200 year old slate one one buried under the floor of the Orient Room!
