Can't remember the last time I saw a busker at an airport! This country western singer at San Antonio Intl. had a sweet tone and a great twang. Hope she turns up on The Voice one of these days. I think she'd do well.

Jason Mamoa kept hitting on me, and hitting on me which became a problem, especially when he pressed me for a response. It became my unhappy task to explain that I was just too old for him...Isn't it lovely to dream?🤣😂😅

Excited to receive my copies of this short story anthology, edited by Leah Henderson and Gary Schmidt! I stepped way out of my comfort zone for this one. Writing about a superpower? Never saw myself doing that, but it was a blast! You’ll love these stories—so will young readers.

Looking forward to TLA! I'll be signing A Walk in the Woods, talking Grief, Loneliness, and Mental Health in Children's Literature, and joining Sylvia Vardell's Poetry Roundup! Any excuse to read poetry works for me! Hope to see you there.

'Let's talk money.' Thousands of jaws, and other body parts immediately clench at the very thought of discussing this subject. We're afraid to ask questions because that would reveal how much we don't know, and that's embarrassing. Get over it! Financial literacy is essential.

The solar eclipse
Played hide and seek
With clouds and trees
For cover.
But a rare round
Of patience
Rewarded me
A glorious glimpse
Of something akin
To magic.
