-Our government is struggling as far as service delivery is concerned. Since independence, NGOs have been there to assist the people. As it stands, more than 18 000 people are making a living under various NGOs.
-The bill takes away political lobbying powers from the people.

1. The bill is a direct controversy with the constitution of Zimbabwe. As individuals we have the right to register as a trustee,an NGO etc as we understand our level of functionality as an entity.

In partnership with #15YearsOfMagamba, we have conducted #Free2Express community discussions with youth in 19 communities as of today, and we are continuing the journey to promote Sections 61 and 62 of the Zimbabwean Constitution on freedom of expression and access to information.

We are attending the public hearings on the PVO &PWD bills around the country. On May 14, members of the community attended the PVO Bill Hearing at the Selbourne Hotel in Bulawayo from 1400 hrs-1600 hrs&we were represented by Tarie_ Eva Noma Mthembo Tsep & others.

People shared how they felt about the bill and the amendments they needed done, with the majority clearly expressing that they do not want the bill. Some of the points raised against bill were:

In partnership with Women's Institute for Leadership Development,we educated youth about their rights as specified in Sections 20&56. Participants said they understood more about their rights after the workshop because,on their own,the Constitution is vague to them. Let's continue to simplify the Constitution.
