Protesting war and police *is* protesting for abortion access.

You can't both say you care about abortion while funding and calling the police on protesters—what do you think police do to people providing and having abortions? You're watching it on your screens.

This is why some of us couldn't stomach President Biden's comments at his 2022 State of the Union speech when he said 'Fund the police' three times but couldn't manage to say the word abortion once. This is the US policy in a nutshell. This is what people are protesting.

Something that irks me about takes like this is how people who consider themselves to be informed seem to be unwilling to see how protesting activists do connect these issues.
