A Perpendicular west tower. The upper stage was added in the 15th Century & was restored in 1977.

There are diagonal stepped buttresses with flint flushwork a full height stair turret.

It was made in Germany in the 1930โ€™s I think - by someone who went on to make bombers!!
Thereโ€™s one in Coventry at Christ Church Cheylesmore which is early 1950s -bonkers building (in a good way!)

The church guide suggests such structures originated in Germany in the 1920s for industrial buildings.
