Really positive meeting this morning at our national office with our local MP Munira Wilson 🇺🇦 and one of our #WorkFit candidates, Celia, to discuss DSA work and priorities including the SEND crisis and disability employment.
Today the APPG for London (London's Parliamentarians) was formally re-established. We were joined by London MPs and Lords from all parties to elect our new officers and discuss priorities for the year ahead, as we seek to work together to strengthen the capital's voice in Parliament.
Very sorry to have heard about the death of Serge Lourie, former leader of Richmond Council. Richmond Council A great champion for Richmond and a good friend to so many of us.

'The Tories are missing in action.' Lib Dem MP Munira Wilson 🇺🇦 tells Andrew Marr that her party will be the one to 'provide a constructive opposition' to Labour.
Delighted to be continuing as Spokesperson for Education, Children & Families. Liberal Democrats will continue to make the case for education being the very best investment we can make in our country's future, ensuring every child can flourish to their full potential.
As I told Sandra Laville The Guardian, we’re getting mixed messages from the government about prioritising water quality at Teddington. We’re told it’s a priority, yet Thames Water 💧’s proposals to pump treated sewage into the river are still in play. Which is it?
"I tell you what is the best deterrent, competence." - Tim Farron on #BBCQT Instead of wasting money on failed schemes like the Rwanda Plan, let's process asylum claims quickly. Return those who aren't refugees humanely, and welcome those who are.
