My father-in-law, a senior officer with the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), died on April 22, 2021, after getting COVID at work. He was a nuclear scienctist who made cancer medicines. He died 8 days before his retirement. May his sacrifice for our country never go to waste.

And just like that, it's been 3 years. 3 years since families had their lives destroyed by COVID, 3 years since India saw its greatest health crisis ever. May we remember those we lost. Rest in peace, Papa. India was fortunate to have such a great scientist like you.

Just wanted to say that I have always loved the work and courage of Tanushree Pandey but now I love her as a person too. Definitely the most fun class we've had Berkeley Journalism with India's most promising investigative journalist.

Looking for writers from #India who write on culture and society, have have experience in long form journalism. Looking for well-written, researched, unique stories from the country. Stories should be rooted to the land and people you're writing about, state no bar.
