I didn’t publish anything about Dupuis; Renee did. But note her first answer was that Dupuis, who said re Renee, “I knew she was working on the Alabama Project,” was someone “she didn’t work with.”

Then she worked with her for two weeks, and “I think we spoke once.”

Mm-hmm.

The deeper I get into stuff that doesn’t involve Trump, the more automatic it is that people try to drag Trump into the conversation

This was no “experiment.” They created the accounts, had them follow Moore, the tipped off reporters that Moore had a Russian following. We have letters from credulous reporters in the Twitter Files.

“It involved a scheme to link the Moore campaign to thousands of Russian accounts that suddenly began following the Republican candidate on Twitter.”

Not just Alabama, either: see “based on media activity from NK” below.

Funny how we went from “The government wasn’t involved” to “What’s wrong with funding”? And what expertise? What is “anti-disinformation” as an expertise? There is no field of people who can magically determine the truth of posts about All Subjects. It’s a fraud

'Word games'? EIP's list of government partners is from its own literature. The funding of CIS is public record. Its own internal workflow chart includes a role for 'Intelligence Community.' These are word games?

You don’t really need a form, but this is a good sample site (or see attached). All you really need to do is search for the address of the agency: nfoic.org/sample-foia-re…

You do not need an attorney, any citizen can send a FOIA letter. You can do it tonight, by email or drop a letter in a box.

If you take public money, you don’t get to keep your research secret. The responsibility to answer FOIA comes with the money.

Not true. It wasn’t cut-and-dried — “Do this!” and things were deleted — but there was an industrial-scale flagging system, tens of thousands of flags from FBI/DHS and other agencies, spreadsheet after spreadsheet, with a hit rate around 50%. Illegal? For courts to decide still.

Oh I know. I’m just saying there’s a ton of stuff in public FOIA reading rooms… I guess you could convert them all, but it would be quite a job.

There’s a lot of stuff that’s sitting in the public domain, scoops just sitting there undiscovered, because FOIAs usually come out as PDFs/images and aren’t searchable
