R.I.P. to E.N. (Ninian) Mellamphy, who died last night, a few weeks after suffering a stroke (on his way out of the house, going for a walk with his wife Cécile). He was a great Dad, great friend, great prof, and (helping-out a colleague) the 1ˢᵗ translator of Gilbert Simondon.

m e l l a m p h y️ Professor Mellamphy was my first-year English teacher and is one of the reasons I elected to pursue an English Language & Literature degree with Arts & Humanities. His wit and wry sense of humour made our classroom experience a joy. My condolences to all who knew and loved him.
