Here's BBC Scotland reporter Lynsey Bews electioneering for Unionists and tacitly admitting BBC Scotland will be ignoring Westminster issues in favour of devolved issues in its coverage of the general election campaign. At least Bews is being honest. We know what's coming.

Pretty much 50 - 50 as to whether it was wise to take part in a debate where Unionists have a three to one advantage. We'll say one thing for John Swinney, he was head and shoulders above Ross and Sarwar at FMQ's. Here's hoping he can do the same thing on Monday.

Lynsey Bews was on Reporting Scotland tonight saying the same thing she said last night, that Unionists were going to target Michael Matheson in the general election campaign. What is the SNP going to target? No idea. Bews never mentioned them. An ugly colonial circus.

Here's John Swinney very calmly handing Douglas Ross his backside. Ross's tendency to be obnoxious leads the PO to order him to apologise. This response is already being watered down by BBC Scotland reporter Kirsten Campbell in her summary of FMQ's. You can see why.

BBC Scotland reporter Kirsten Campbell has just given a summary of FMQ's on Radio Scotland. Anas Sarwar's NHS attack was included. John Swinney quoting Wes Streeting in response was not. That's how blatantly biased they are.

The only way BBC Scotland can avoid covering Swinney's response to Sarwar is to airbrush Sarwar's question out of its news reports of FMQ's. That's not as far fetched as you might think. BBC Scotland has done this in the past with questions that didn't go well for Ross or Sarwar.

Had Swinney shoe-horned this into a response to Sarwar but the Scottish Labour leader hadn't mentioned the NHS, then broadcasters would be within their rights not to mention it. The fact Sarwar brought up the NHS as an attack line means they're obliged to highlight the response.

BBC Scotland has no intention of highlighting John Swinney's excellent response to Anas Sarwar after the Scottish Labour leader went on the attack using the NHS. A genuine election issue. The broadcaster is fully invested in making the Matheson story an election issue instead.

2. Cancel the debate.
3. Invite the Scottish
