We finished our Computing topic on pictograms by creating chart on our own data that we collected about the class @StJamesCE
Y2 did some lovely work with Mrs Robinson yesterday afternoon. They watched a clip from ‘Inside Out’ about Riley’s personality island. We discussed what makes us the way we are and how those things can impact our mental health. They then created their own! @StJamesCE
Y2 have done some amazing paragraphs on orangutan’s this week! @StJamesCE Literacy Counts
We have been learning about the differences between seeds and bulbs in science. We put them into groups 🌱 @StJamesCE
We have started our topic on volume today. We have started by comparing different volumes using <, > and = symbols @StJamesCE
This afternoon we visited Father Michael who spoke to us about significant items and symbols in our local church @StJamesCE
Y2 had an incredible time at TheWorldofGlass We learned lots about the process of making glass, had a tour, watched a glass blowing demonstration and created some prints @StJamesCE
We participated in an assembly this afternoon all about hate and how to treat others, lead by our local police @StJamesCE

We took a trip to Kenya with our own boarding passes and passports. We learned key facts about Kenya such at their capital city, mountains, rivers and nearest ocean @StJamesCE
Thank you Miss McDonald and Y6 helpers for teaching us how to make West African lime cake. Such a delicious lesson! @StJamesCE
We learned about Ubuntu and how important community is. We also compared our school with African schools with Miss Barratt @StJamesCE
