The amazing thing about growing up in the UK in the 70s was that punk, electronica and this kind of entertainment were happening at the same time, perhaps the culture clash that birthed punk in the first place. Everything seemed shockingly new or old.

I didn't realize that certain type of rubber break down very quickly. Electronics like bluetooth speakers and and an Ableton push controller I bought 10 years ago are now sticky and unsightly. Is that poor planning or planned obsolescence?
