Pop-up protected bike lanes, a willing city, and a school: A match made in heaven.
Pop-ups are a great way to find out if there's a latent demand* for youth cycling, like this one we did last week in the City of Hialeah (Miami, Florida).
*There usually is.

Yet people regularly tell us that we're 'brave' to cycle in London. In a leafy residential neighbourhood.
My kids have been told so in a side road on the way to school - that's how oddly normalised road danger is.
