I agree with the multiplicity of songs nowadays. Fewer songs in the past meant that they were easier to memorise with repetition.But just like with music in general, we used to learn and memorise different songs per time. I think that easy access to lyrics makes one lazy

I have 2 church hypotheses:
1. Men sleep more during service
2. Displaying lyrics has reduced the number of songs we know by heart

Often, illness is a signal to slow down, to heal, to care for our bodies, change our behaviours and to manage specific aspects of our health.
I hope we are sensitive enough and take action as required before things degenerate beyond repair.
