It is a great honour to be appointed Cabinet Member for Communities.
I am excited to be joining such an ambitious & dynamic Cabinet team at Haringey Council to bring about a fairer, safer and greener Borough.
Owning stuff is so 20th Century. Downloading music, TV shows & movies is now the norm. 'Downloading' cars & vans for when you actually need them means less traffic, less parking stress, less cost.

Fantastic to share the joy at the school gates this morning at Stroud Green. The only noise was the chatter and laughter of little people. Headteacher, Lucy, no longer has to intervene in road rage incidents!

It’s been a great year, thank you for all your energy, hard work and commitment. You’ve been a real champion for young people.
There are 👍 great facts in the Get Out Get Active Passport my son got from school this #WalkToSchoolWeek
Did you know that 1/2 the cars on London roads in the morning are parents driving to school. By saving 1 in 4 of these we can save huge amounts of CO2 & improve air quality?
Three years ago Winchmore Hill Green was basically a sleepy car park with little footfall.
After full pedestrianisation it’s now a thriving centre for the community, and businesses are delighted.
#PedestrianisationWorks and if you’re a Councillor, push for it in your patch!
