.🎏Glitch GlitchDevs I'm trying to setup an OpenTelemetry demo for .NET to send data to honeycomb.io, but I only see .NET 2.1 SDK installed (which was EoL on 21st Aug).
Is it possible to use .NET 5 SDK?

We added an entirely new metrics API based on OpenTelemetry in .NET 6. It supports dimensions, is *super* efficient and will have exporters for popular metric sinks (prometheus etc).

TIL that honeycomb.io has an Orb for integrating our buildevents with CircleCI -- this is back on our list of maintained projects and a new release is available! Hella dope. Instrumenting your pipeline is such a great way to get started with o11y.
