I rewatched SILENCE OF THE LAMBS and forgot just how quickly it gets down to it. 13 minutes in Clarice and Hannibal meet and then she’s off. Modern movies would wait 45 minutes and force (pointless) door knocks and action. The whole movie is this tight and I miss that simplicity.
