The lift serving platform 1 (Liverpool bound platform) at James Street is out of service until further notice.

Passengers are advised to alight at another underground station.

⚠️Latest Service Updates - Southport & Hunts Cross Lines

ℹ️ Due to a points failure near Bootle Oriel Road, services on the Southport & Hunts Cross lines are disrupted. 

Rail Replacement buses have been requested between Sandhills & Bootle New Strand

ℹ️ Due to engineering work, on Sunday 5 May, rail replacement buses will run between Chester & Ellesmere Port and Rock Ferry until 13:30.
