“It was like a scene out of a horror movie,” Kaia Shah, a postgraduate researcher who is a media liaison for the encampment, told a local reporter after the mayhem died down. “We got viciously attacked for hours and hours.” forward.com/news/608215/ca…

here it is:

Eric Adams asked live on MSNBC about how many non-students were arrested at Columbia

Adams gets flustered then says it was...TWO individuals

he refuses to name them but then references a person that the NYPD already confirmed wasn't arrested & wasn't even there

Israel is the one openly saying NO to a ceasefire, while mainstream media keeps repeating that Hamas is rejecting the ceasefire!

The 'generous' deal on the table now is a mere pause for a few weeks to get the hostages out then back to wiping Gaza off the face of the earth...

It's very simple. You don't get to warn about the danger of fascism in November - which, as I have said for years, is very real! - without challenging, rather than colluding with, fascist tendencies *right now*

It turns out that if you don't call in anti-terror cops to beat, detain, and arrest your students, you can actually avoid escalating violence and chaos, and becoming headline news across the globe, and actually have a productive discussion with demonstrators on your campus.

Once they arrest all the protestors, ban Tik Tok and make it illegal to say 'Israel bad' it should be smooth sailing from there

So you agree that people who break in and vandalize a building should be prosecuted?

J.D. Vance: 'Exactly.'

I’m just checking because you did help raise money for people who did so on Jan. 6th.

people are saying it, i'll say it again: LA police are rolling in with all their fancy military toys to clear out the peaceful encampment at UCLA but took hours to intervene last night when a mob of ethnofascist thugs attacked the students with chemical agents and 2x4s

'To keep the peace, we both put ourselves between some pro-Palestinian protesters (who were mostly disciplined and non-confrontational) and a small contingent of very aggressive and provocative pro-Israel counter-protesters.'

Dov is the *chair of Israel studies* at UCLA. Listen:

Absolute in The Forward from Prof. David. N Myers, the Sady & Ludwig Kahn Chair in Jewish History at UCLA, in which he calls out violent pro-Israel counter-protesters who caused chaos on campus last night. But our East Coast media focuses on NYC:

So the most salient example of physical violence against persons—resulting in 25 people hospitalized—was caused by pro Israeli thugs, observed and denounced by Jewish professors. This doesn’t evoke “Europe in the 1930s” as Dana Bash has it—but rather Peekskill, NY 1949.
