This is the UCP's entire MO: deprive public systems of funding and resources, place them under additional stress, and then propose more widespread privatization when they inevitably buckle under the pressure being applied to them.

Imagine kicking someone out of your political party, publicly attacking them, telling them to 'f-ck off' when they approach you to make amends... then seeking the public's sympathy when that person has no interest in working with you for your own political survival.
