Squarespace is scraping your data

Instead of respecting creators' work from the start, they're putting the burden on creators to opt-out and hope that they respect it. Sam Altman himself says these systems wouldn't be possible without using copyrighted data, so who do you think this is REALLY helping? End🧵

Before this, OpenAI had an online form where you had to INDIVIDUALLY list your works you wanted opted out, as well as provide a description for each one. They've since scrapped that and now the form only allows you to remove personal data for privacy reasons.
