Hey CO₂ electrocatalysis people: Should we really be calling it "CO₂ reduction" in public? I see 2 problems: -It's imprecise. Electrochemically, sure we reduce C, but not CO₂ -It's misleading. To the public, "reduction" means to decrease (1/3)
