Thank you to everyone saying lovely things. There *will* be more work published before the end of the year, so hang on in there for the duration! We’ll have published 30 short stories & 3 poems by the time we close the door. So many brilliant writers. It’s been quite a ride!

The bottom line is that for various reasons, mainly financial and Twitter’s slow demise, we’re shelving our #Seventy2One imprint. The email we’ve sent to subscribers explains what’s happening with subs. Still some stories to come this year. We won’t go quietly 💥

As someone who has built a publishing imprint on here and now sees it dawdling and dwindling due to the destructive dunderhead currently at the helm, I concur with the steaming veg.

Well, we’ve published 27 short stories (and 3 poems) in the last 20 months. So, you know, to say there’s no outlets stings a little.

Twitter has been the platform upon which our little micro-press, #Seventy2One , has built its audience. It’s enabled us to create a genuine community around our short stories. However it feels like it’s failing. We’re bringing no one new with us. The buzz has buzzed off.
