From speaking on Coventry City Council plans for a greener future #UKREiFF yesterday to being part of our AGM & Mayor Making Coventry Cathedral today. Leaping forward to the year 2050 then back to 1345 & the Charter of Incorporation within 24 hours is one of the many reasons I love this job!

It’s rare that I look back. There is so much in front of us. BUT it will be emotional as Coventry UK City of Culture 2021 Coventry City Council passes on the precious gift of Department for Culture, Media and Sport #UKCityofCulture2025. This journey started over 7 years ago & it has been on my mind every single day since. What a privilege.

Our Chief Executive Martin Reeves is set to take up a new role at Oxfordshire County Council His appointment is subject to formal ratification at their next Full Council meeting. We would like to thank Martin for his 14 years of service and we wish him the very best for the future.
