Winter in Torridon

I remember my early days as a young policeman in Carlisle. January 1982. A bleakly cold and dark month. I went to my first sudden death that month. An old lad who’d died a full week before, alone in his bedsit. And yet. His legs still had more colour than mine did this morning.

Andrew has a lovely eye for the smaller picture. I applaud anyone with the patience and vision to pursue a project for more than a decade. I've just ordered my copy. It looks a lovely book.
