Lazare was sentenced to 9 years in jail. In addition, the judge said they will count his sentence served only from March 2023 to October, not until April. 9 months is the maximum amount for pretrial dentention, but he was sentenced for another case right before 9 months were over

For the past few days, huge efforts have gone into putting up thousands of posters in the streets spreading propaganda about the foreign agents' draft law, while activists also mobilize to remove those banners from the streets. Some of them were questioned by the police. 📸via FB

Today's protest is ending with the EU and Georgian anthems. The next protest will likely be held on Monday, when the Judiciary Committee of the parliament is expected to discuss the foreign agents' draft law 2.0.

A march organised by more than a dozen civil society organisations takes start on Rustaveli right now: Yes to Europe, no to the Russian law, it is called and is against the foreign agent draft law which was recently resubmitted in the parliament. Rustaveli is fully blocked.

Today's session of the Bureau of Parliament is over. Foreign agents' draft will be considered at the judiciary committee probably on Friday. Meanwhile, the demo is scheduled for tomorrow against the law, and more protests to come as the Parliament discussion will proceed.

After reintroduction of the agents bill, posters appeared in Tbilisi with civil activists and NGO leaders accusing them in treason. Protesters now cover such posters with new stickers denouncing the agents' draft law.

Many journalists didn't get a pass to get inside the parliament, including OC Media. Those who have passes or accreditation are currently not let in. They claim there is some 'technical issue'.
